Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! Whether you are new to Sandy Grade or a returning family, we hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing Summer break! As we prepare to open our doors and welcome our students back, below are a few important updates and reminders to help you get ready for the new school year:
End-of-Day Transportation Information
To ensure a smooth start to the 2026-2027 school year, please take a moment to fill out the Sandy Grade School End of Day Transportation Form. This lets us know how your student will be getting home each day.
If you have more than one student at Sandy Grade, please fill out a separate form for each child.
It's essential that we receive this form well before the first day of school.
If your student’s transportation plans change on a weekly basis, please call the school directly to let us know at 503-668-8065.
If you've moved over the summer and your student will not be returning to Sandy Grade, please notify the office staff by commenting below. Thank you!
Open House:
Our Open House is Wednesday, 9/2 from 5:30pm-7:00pm. This is a quick, informal time to drop off school supplies, briefly meet the teacher and get a quick tour.

Registration for 26-27 school year!
Enrollment is now open for the 2026-2027 school year. It is important for returning and new families to update registration every year to ensure we have the most up to date information on your child, emergency contacts, etc. Please visit our Enrollment page for more information.
