• Back-to- School Night -September 25- Teachers give presentations in their classroom. 
• Math and Science Night- possibly in November- trying to coordinate with the High School to get robotics team to come to the event
• Writing and Art Walk- tentative date Dec 18, 2025, double check other schools and City calendars 
• Literacy Night- March 12, 2026- Theme: Space
• OMSI- possibly have an assembly for students this year. 

Review  Parent Involvement Plan (PIP)- Add Library check out process, double check who is the Mckenney Vento Liaison.

Review  Parent Student Teacher Compact- make the fonts match

Documents will be passed out at conference time

• Donna met with Todos Juntos regarding support

• Upcoming events- shared plans- going to have hotdogs and may need to order some books for older grades. Todos is looking into purchasing some books for K-3
  • Literacy Night- March 12th 
• How was the art walk?- Ask the teachers about how it went at the next staff meeting.
• Anything else for the good of the order?
• Conferences week of Feb 9th - Parents will bring dinner for teachers - Tuesday and Thursday!
• OMSI is coming May 7th- possibility that we may need some volunteers
• Ask Brock about Field day help- Donna will check in with Brock
• Apex- parents asked about where the money was going. Cassiday will follow up in the weekly parent newsletter

  • We have some prizes around the building that we can use for prizes. 
  • Bounce house? Are we able? Why are other schools allowed and we are not? 
  • Field day at Cedar Ridge? Can we get student Leadership to come help?

• How was Literacy Night? Suggestions for next year
  • Preview of books helps
  • Code for book fair - add to the parent update next year 
  • Need better communication for book fair
  • Want the event to be longer - families thought the time was short
  • Move Hotdogs/food back to the gym- kept blowing the breaker in the cafeteria
  • More than two tables in the gym per activity- there were people waiting for activities
  • Add all age level challenge word for activities like telescope
  • Overall it went well 298 attended

Cassiday is going to look into Middle School, and look at schedule to see how to avoid overlapping of grade outside for Field day and recess

  • Popsicle and drink at the end instead of the prizes (something different than the last few years)

• OMSI- May 7th- how did it go?- It was money well spent for three hours  of activities for students. Students liked the stations. 
• End of Year Activities

  • Recess  will in the gym
  • Activities- Brock Mueller has the activities plan.  

Possibly use Dunk Tank- class competition/ May awards get a chance to dunk 

Limited prizes this year, freezer pop for all at the end. 

Loretta is getting volunteers for Field Day.
