I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! It's hard to believe we are already halfway through May! This year has really flown by. Here is a look at what’s coming up:

We are in week 2 for state testing. Students worked so hard during language arts last week. This week we will be testing in math. As a reminder, please make sure your children go to bed at a good time and eat a filling breakfast to get their brains moving! Encourage your children to not rush, and remember that these tests are for us as educators to know our areas of strength and those we need to continue to grow in. We will provide snacks and gum for them to enjoy while testing!  

Please remember during drop off and pick up to not park in the La Bamba parking lot. Dismissal is during their open hours and we can't block the parking. 

Our virtue for May is Leadership!  We will be on the lookout for students who are showing leadership in the classroom, in the cafeteria, hallways and at recess!
