Hello Bobcat Families!
Welcome back to school! We are looking forward to seeing all of our students this week! We have a great week planned to help our students adjust into their school schedule. Please see details below about the upcoming week's schedule as well as the arrival/dismissal procedures. We look forward to seeing you Tuesday, it’s going to be a great week! Go Bobcats!

Arrival
Students will be able to enter Sandy Grade at 8:45 am.
Bus:
Students who ride the bus, will enter through the MAIN doors. From there, students will have the opportunity to eat breakfast in the cafeteria or go to the gym to wait and socialize until school starts at 9:05.
Walkers/Drop Off:
Students who walk or are dropped-off by parents will enter the school through the MAIN doors. Staff will be ready to assist students who need help finding their class.
Students who would like breakfast will walk directly to the cafeteria, while the others will walk to the gym to socialize with friends until school starts at 9:05. If your student would like to eat breakfast at school, please make sure they are there plenty early to be finished eating by 9:05am. If students arrive after 9:05am, they will need to be dropped off through the front door and checked in at the office with a staff member.
Dismissal
Dismissal at Sandy Grade is at 3:55 pm all week. (Early release Wednesday starts 9/10)
Students who ride the bus, will exit through their classroom doors and teacher’s will ensure students get put on the appropriate bus.
Students who walk or are picked-up by parents will exit through the WEST doors near the La Bamba restaurant. Walkers will all be released first. Pick up students will wait for their numbers/names to be called to be dismissed.
Parent Pick-Up/Walkers:
Parent pick-up will be located on the west side of the building near the La Bamba restaurant. We will form one line that will wrap around to the front of the building. Staff members will be out to help guide you but expect delays since this will be our first week and many families have chosen pickup. We appreciate your patience with this process and ask that you help us out by remaining in your car. We will be there to help your students with doors if needed, but the process will run much more smoothly if parents are staying in their cars. If you are walking, please stand near the grassy area and make sure someone sees you. Please do not take your child without letting us know for their safety.
All Pick-Up students will receive a pick-up number within the first week of school. Please check your child's’ backpack for your copies to place in your windshield or to hold up so we can see. Once numbers have been handed out to all students, we will need you to bring them with you daily to dismissal. If you have children in multiple grades, only one student will have the numbers since there is one number assigned per family and each family will receive two copies.
