Weekly Parent Update

January 25, 2026

Hello Bobcat Families!

Happy Sunday! I hope you have had a restful weekend so far. As a reminder, tomorrow, January 26th is a grading day, so we do not have school.

Your kiddos have been working hard to show their best work during iReady and Acadience assessments. I am so proud of them and their growth.
Here is the latest news and information for the week ahead:

Road Safety

Student Drop Off Safety

We have noticed the last several weeks unsafe behaviors when dropping students off. Please remember the following:

  • Please stay in your vehicle. If your student needs help getting out of the car, please find a place to park and walk them to the door.
  • Please do not drive away with your car/van doors open.
  • Do not flip around in the middle of the street to get into the drop off lane. Please drive around the block and turn around safely.
  • Please remember to not stop in the middle of the road to drop off or pick up your students. This creates more traffic.

Conferences

Please remember to sign up for conferences with your child's teacher.

January Virtue

This month’s virtue is Respectful. Staff members are on the lookout for students who are being respectful with their classmates and respectful with staff members by following directions, using listening ears and using "please" and "thank you".

Orchid Health

In advance of exclusion day (Feb. 25), Orchid Health will hold vaccination clinics on Monday, Feb. 9 and Monday, Feb. 23 at the Sandy High School clinic. The clinics are by appointment only and appointments can be made by calling 971-220-2701.
