Weekly Parent Update

February 1, 2026

Hello Bobcat Families!

Happy Sunday! I hope you have had a wonderful weekend so far.
Here is the latest news and information for the week ahead:

Our Students are Growing~

This term, our school community has seen some truly inspiring leaps in student achievement. Leading the way, our Kindergarteners showed phenomenal growth, soaring from 26% to 86% of students meeting their benchmarks. We also saw steady, impressive gains in our other grades as well.

These numbers aren't just statistics; they are a direct reflection of our collective teamwork and a renewed focus on consistent attendance. When students are in their seats every day, they have the opportunity to engage with our dedicated staff and build the momentum necessary for these breakthroughs.

As we look forward to our upcoming conferences, we are excited to sit down with each of you to share your child’s individual success stories. Let’s take this time to celebrate how far they’ve come and keep that momentum going!

Road Safety

Student Drop Off Safety

We have noticed the last several weeks unsafe behaviors when dropping students off. Please remember the following:

  • Please stay in your vehicle. If your student needs help getting out of the car, please find a place to park and walk them to the door.
  • Please do not drive away with your car/van doors open.
  • Do not flip around in the middle of the street to get into the drop off lane. Please drive around the block and turn around safely.
  • Please remember to not stop in the middle of the road to drop off or pick up your students. This creates more traffic.

Conferences

Please remember to sign up for conferences with your child's teacher.

February Virtue

This month's virtue is Perseverance!

Persevering at school means maintaining your effort and focus even when you face difficulties, setbacks, or a lack of motivation. It is the ability to push through the "hard parts" of learning to achieve your long-term educational goals.

It isn't just about working hard when things are going well; it is defined by how you react when things go wrong.
