Weekly Parent Update

May 10, 2026

Hello Bobcat Families!

I hope you all had a restful weekend and enjoyed the three day weekend and some sunshine!

Here is a look at what’s coming up:

Registration for 26-27 school year!

Enrollment is now open for the 2026-2027 school year. It is important for returning and new families to update registration every year to ensure we have the most up to date information on your child, emergency contacts, etc. Please visit our Enrollment page for more information.

May Virtue

Our virtue for May is Leadership!  We will be on the lookout for students who are showing leadership in the classroom, in the cafeteria, hallways and at recess!

Lost and Found

Our Lost and Found is growing! Please check for your students lost items next time you are at the school.

Anything not claimed will be donated at the end of the school year.

State Testing

We have state testing for grades 3-5 this week and are excited to watch them take their time and do their best! Please make sure your children go to bed at a good time and eat a filling breakfast to get their brains moving! Encourage your children to not rush, and remember that these tests are for us as educators to know the areas we need to continue to grow in. We will provide snacks and gum for them to enjoy while testing!

Parent Corner- Crossing the Finish Line Together

Believe it or not, the end of the school year is just around the corner! While we are all excited for summer break, we’ve noticed that "spring fever" has officially arrived in the classroom. Many of our students are finding it a bit harder to stay focused and follow our daily routines.
We want to make sure we finish the year strong and celebrate all the growth we’ve made! You can help us by:
  • Checking in: Ask your child about one specific thing they learned or completed each day.
  • Resting up: Keeping a consistent bedtime helps them manage the extra excitement during the day.
  • Encouragement: Remind them that the work they do now is the "cherry on top" of a great year.
Thank you for helping us keep the momentum going right up until the final bell!
